Barnabas was a man of faith who was always willing to serve others and assist the leaders of the church. Found in the book of Acts, the name means “son of encouragement.” Acts 11:24 states, “He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.” Following his footsteps, our middle and high school students, who are a part of the Barnabas Youth Group, work hand in hand to be encouragers by helping others through the grace of God.
